Hi, I'm Roel Cezar, but I go by Cabz. I'm a software engineer & developer based in the Philippines. I have a real passion for user interface and visual design, and I love creating experiences that feel intuitive, dynamic, and easy to use.

Give me enough coffee and I'll happily follow an idea wherever it leads. I get inspired easily, and I'm never satisfied with just thinking of something new; I feel an almost impulsive need to build it and see it come to life.

So far, that drive has turned into responsive website designs, front-end assets, and custom WordPress builds, and I'm always looking for the next thing to make.

Challenge Build a league management platform for pickleball from scratch — no existing brand, no UI framework.
Design Created wireframes and prototypes in Figma, mapping out player registration flows, league brackets, and a scheduling interface.
Engineering Developed the full front-end with a focus on responsive layouts and real-time data presentation for match results and standings.

Challenge Deliver a product catalog and e-commerce site for a fire safety and industrial equipment supplier with limited digital presence.
Design Structured the information architecture around product categories and trust signals — mockups built in Figma.

Challenge A lifestyle cycling brand needed an online storefront that matched its visual-heavy social media presence.

Challenge A new food house in Sta. Maria, Bulacan needed a cohesive identity before its launch — no existing branding.
Design Developed the logo, color palette, and typography system in Figma, then applied it across menus, signage, and social media templates.
Engineering Exported production-ready assets and built a reusable template system for ongoing promotional materials.

Challenge A street-culture apparel brand needed visual identity that stood on its own across clothing tags, packaging, and social media.
Design Developed the full brand system — logo, typography, and layout patterns — grounded in streetwear aesthetics and everyday wearability.
Engineering Produced print-ready and digital assets, ensuring consistent application from product labels to online storefront visuals.

Hobby-turned-Business

What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into a business. I build, modify, and fine-tune mechanical keyboards — from switch modding and lube work to full acoustic optimization. Every board I put together is all about getting the sound and feel just right.

Beyond the builds, I've organized keyboard meetups with my previous organizations and alma mater, bringing the community together to share the craft. thy keycabz has helped me a lot with my extra income, and I'm still in touch and active in the Keyboard Addicts PH community as a passionate enthusiast.

Cryptobuds is a crypto community I co-founded — focused on teaching how NFTs and blockchain projects actually work. We're active on different networks, running Discord talks for members who want to understand the space beyond the noise. The goal was never hype — it was building real literacy and helping people navigate web3 with confidence.

Yo-Bi is my brother's music project — and I'm the one behind the scenes keeping the digital side running. From managing the online presence and visual identity to supporting content strategy and branding, I handle what needs to happen so the creative output reaches the right audience.
